* It is a 2U backup appliance offering 24TB of raw capacity (15.5TB usable) using 6x 4TB disks.
* It can scale capacity to provide excellent density within the 2U form factor from 24TB to 48TB raw capacity (15.5TB usable -31.5TB Usable) using a 6x 4TB disks upgrade kit.
* It can protect up to 70TB of data in 12 hours (5.8TB/hr ingest performance) via StoreOnce Catalyst and restore up to 41TB (3.4TB/hr restore speed) in the same period

HP has Day 0 support for vSphere 6.0
VMware has released VMware vSphere 6.0 and once again HP support is available Day 0.

Latest Fling from VMware Labs - VCS to VCVA Converter
The VCS to VCVA Converter Appliance is the winning idea from the 2013 Fling Contest. It allows customers to migrate from Windows vCenter Server with an External Microsoft SQL Server Database to the vCenter Server Appliance with an embedded vPostgres database.
The Fling migrates the vCenter database, roles, permissions, privileges, certificates and inventory service. The target appliance will run at the same IP address as the source vCenter.

New Version of LeftHand OS for HP StoreVirtual Now Available
* Space Reclamation - StoreVirtual Storage can now reclaim space in VMware vSphere and Microsoft Windows environments using T10 UNMAP.
* HP StoreVirtual Multipathing Extension Module (MEM) for VMware vSphere - Reduce latency and improve performance in VMware vSphere environments. The MEM also optimizes data-path traffic in multi-site (or stretch-cluster) configurations.
* New REST API - Provision storage, create and modify storage pools using the all new web services based API for HP StoreVirtual.
* Faster remote copy performance and system reboot times.
